Ukraine National Team Fans Show Support for Azovstal Defenders During Match

On March 26, during the final playoff match in which Ukraine defeated Iceland, Ukrainian fans unfolded numerous banners reading “Free Azovstal Defenders” and “Free Azov.” Participants of the performance shared dozens of photos from the match with our Association.

The day before, the players of the blue-and-yellow national team also displayed a similar banner, reminding the world about the captivity of the Azovstal defenders. The corresponding photo was published by the Ukrainian Association of Football on its official website.

The Association of Azovstal Defenders' Families thanks the fans of the Ukraine national team for their incredible support and also expresses gratitude to all the players for standing with us in this fight. We also congratulate Ukraine on qualifying for Euro 2024.
